The dream comes true for Jourdan Serderidis!

The EKO Rally Acropolis is again part of the World Rally Championship and Jourdan Serderidis, holder of the WRC Trophy in 2017, did not miss the opportunity to register to compete in front of his compatriots with a top Ford Fiesta WRC! This will be the first participation of the Greek driver in the “World” Rally Acropolis, having driven R5 cars in the past, when our national race was counting in the European Rally Championship.

In order to cope with the adversities of such a race, but also to learn the car, Serderidis, did a series of tests in England, Sardinia, but also in the region of Corinth a few days ago: «The Acropolis Rally requires proper preparation, as it is a great race. For this reason we did several kilometers of testing with Ford Fiesta WRC, which we last drove at the Australian Rally in 2018 », were the first words of the driver, who continued: «We gained useful conclusions about theset up of the car, which we hope will perform in the race. »

Regarding the goal, born in Kavala driver said: «In the race are participate the best drivers in the world, who are professionals, unlike us who compete for experience and fun. This will be the third time we will drive the car so we are not familiar enough with it. We will try to move fast, to stay on the road without punctures and finish. It’s a tough race, so we will seek to move smartly! »

Closing, Jourdan Serderidis wanted to refer to the Greek friends who will be in the special stages: «It is our great pleasure to compete in the Acropolis Rally which now counts on WRC. Greek sports fans are quite enthusiastic and I look forward to competing in this historic race»

The EKO Rally Acropolis has as center the city of Lamia and composed of 15 special stages with a total length of 292 racing kilometers.
