Jordanis Serderidis in his homeland!

After participating in the Acropolis Rally with a Ford Fiesta WRC, Iordanis Serderidis returns to the Greek Gravel Rally Championship, participating on Sunday, October 10 at the TIF Rally. With Fred Miclotte co-driver in the Skoda Fabia Rally2, the Kavaliotis driver participates in a race with new special stages that includes after many years and a gravel leg.

The TIF Rally takes place very close to the city of Thessaloniki, with the driver feeling at home: «I am happy to participate in this special race, as it is close to my hometown, Kavala. My family will be coming to watch, so this is an extra incentive for me to go fast “, Said Serderidis and continued: “The special stages are new for everyone, they are technical in some places, while the fast tracks are not absent, which reminded me of the Polish Rally. These are interesting stages!

With the weather forecasts being ominous, the driver appeared concerned about the conditions that will prevail on Sunday: “It is expected to rain during the race. This certainly does not favor us as well slippery special stages are not my strong point. Nevertheless, the same conditions will be for everyone, we will enjoy it and we will definitely learn a lot about driving in the mud

Regarding his opponents, the holder of the WRC Trophy in 2017, stressed: “The participations are of a high level, as all the contenders for this year’s title participate, with the addition of the Greek Champion in 2017, Socrates Tsolakidis. Our goal is to finish the match in the top five and if the conditions allow it, to push for something better ”

The gravel leg of the TIF Rally consists of 4 special routes, with a total length of 87 racing kilometers.
