WRC 2023- Jourdan Serderidis- Jourdan Serderidis returns with Rally2 on Saturday

Jourdan Serderidis did not complete Friday’s leg, as he had an unfortunate moment in the first special stage of the day that put him out of the leg early on. Using the Rally2 procedure, the Greek driver will return on Saturday, with several penalty minutes, which will drop him down the rankings.

«While we were perfectly happy with our pace in the two Thursday night super specials held in the city of Guanajuato, the follow-up was no match on Friday morning. In the opening stage of the day we made a mistake in the eleventh kilometer, which resulted to hurt the Ford Puma Rally1 and to put ourselves out of the continuity of the leg. Unfortunately, these things happen in the race », said Jourdan Serderidis.

The Greek driver, making use of the Rally2 regulation, will return on Saturday to compete in the remaining twelve special stages of the race: “Until the point of abandonment we had found a good pace on a difficult special stage and we kept it. We’ll be back on Saturday so we can put some precious kilometers on it Ford Puma Rally1and achieve competitive times“, concluded Jourdan Serderidis.

Rally Mexico continues on Saturday with 9 special stages, with a total length of 126 racing kilometers.
