WRC 2023- Jourdan Serderidis- In the colors of M-Sport in the WRC the Greek Champion

In the official colors of M-Sport Ford, Jourdan Serderidis will compete in selected races of the World Rally Championship in 2023. The 2017 Greek WRC Trophy champion will be under the same tent as Ott Tanak and Pierre-Louis Loubet, driving a top-of-the-line Ford Puma Rally1, with his beloved No. 9 on the windows.

“I am very happy to be given the opportunity to be part of M-Sport, a professional team, which won the constructors’ title in 2017. I have a lot to learn from the 2019 World Champion Ott Tanak as well as the rapidly developing Pierre-Louis Loubet”, stated the Greek driver and added: “My approach to racing does not change and the primary goal remains to improve my driving but also to enjoy driving one of the best cars in the WRC. I will try to enter some races in the top 10 this year, to make my compatriots in Greece proud and to justify my sponsors for their trust”

The Monte Carlo Rally will not be an unprecedented experience for Jourdan Serderidis. He has raced there four times previously with his best finish being sixth in the WRC2 class in 2014 in a Ford Fiesta R5: “It’s true that the Monte Carlo Rally is the most difficult race in the WRC with the changing conditions making it completely unpredictable. Our main objective will be to finish the race, which we have achieved only once in our four entries, again in a Ford brand car. It will certainly be a success to finish in the top 20 of the race. It will be important for us to get 300+ km of the race behind the wheel of the Puma Rally1, try different set-up settings and tire selection and approach our limits. It’s going to be a unique experience and I’m looking forward to it“, concluded the Greek driver.
The Monte Carlo Rally starts on Thursday 19th January with two night special stages and ends on Sunday 22nd January. The crews will be invited to compete in 18 special stages, with a total length of 325 racing kilometers.
