After a vacation in the French Alps during the COVID pandemic, I decided to take a drive through the famous special stages from my favorite game, *Richard Burns Rally*: Côte d’Arbroz, Joux Plane, and Joux Verte. The routes, combined with the scenery, got me thinking. I had to come back to watch the French Asphalt Championship race. Unfortunately, though, in recent years it always coincided with the Acropolis Rally. This year, though, I decided to combine it with my summer vacation, although to be honest, it was a bit of a tight squeeze since I was flying back to Greece the very next day after the race. In a nutshell, I’d say the French are truly on another level. It’s no coincidence that they’ve produced world champions as well as talents we often see in the WRC. One thing is certain: this race left me with nothing but positive impressions, and I hope to have the opportunity again in the future to watch a race on French soil. The rest is in the video below…
