🇧🇪Rallye de Wallonie 2022 through my lens.

Last week I was back in Belgium for the fourth rally of the championship. This year the race was two days but this time it also had Shakedown on Friday. Unfortunately, the race had nothing to do with what I was watching in recent years. Each day had three special stages repeated three times. I was negatively impressed by the fact that they did not have classic special specials with impressive spots to watch. Friday and I am in a completely indifferent Shakedown incredibly fast in fields and only the last 100 meters were ideal to take some nice photos. After I moved by car 2-3 times in case I find something interesting but I was disappointed and I left to check in for the house I had booked for the weekend.

Saturday morning with quite cold but fortunately good weather, the program had a special satge of three times. First pass and while I have found my point just before passing 0 I decided to go to last year point but this time with better light since it was early in the morning. I changed several points and finally the result satisfied me a lot.

Second pass I just walked 200-300 meters to enter a forest with nice spots but the problem was the sunlight as opposed to the shadows of the trees. Fortunately, I did not have a big problem and so this passage went quite well. For the third pass I had to make a distance of 30-35 minutes for a closed road of 500 meters…

Last pass of the day known since the video era. Better than what I had in mind in the end, with enough people making my photos more interesting. The day ended with a recurring special in the city of Namur with entrance 15 € when the two-day has 25 €.

Sunday, second day of the race again a special of three times. Known special stage from the old days with spectacular gravel points. The first two went pretty well with some nice photos but the third was exactly as I had it in mind. Indifferent to photos but not so much to video. Apart from the weather, another positive of the race was the small amount of kilometers for the spectator and therefore less fatigue. I hope next year it will be a classic Wallonie from the old ones again. Next date probably on the track…
