In all the specials there were quite hard spots with lots of rocks, which you had to avoid. We rode with a proper strategy, knowing that the race is long, in order to reach the finish on Sunday and we did it  <\/em><\/strong><em>&#8220;.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The second place among the Greek crews and the 24<sup>th<\/sup> place overall among the 67 starters, particularly pleased the crew of the Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo: &#8220;<strong><em>We did not have in mind to compete with the times of the other Greek crews. We wanted to move nimbly by improving our own performance, avoid any problems and do all the racing kilometers of the race. Thanks to proper preparation, we did great. Many congratulations are due to my co-driver, Ioannis Velanis who guided me superbly during all four days, as well as to the team manager Robert Nahmias. He organized our participation in the match in the best way and he deserves the credits    <\/em><\/strong>&#8220;, said Vasilios Velanis.<\/p>\n<p>And this year, the EKO Rally Acropolis was overwhelmed by thousands of spectators who filled both the Olympic Stadium of Athens on Thursday night and the special stages: &#8220;<strong><em>It was a great feeling to see the people in the mountains cheering and applauding our effort. As for the super-special stage in OAKA, words are unnecessary. You&#8217;re in awe of competing in front of 60,000+ spectators and all the lights on you  <\/em><\/strong>&#8220;, emphasized the VE<sup>2<\/sup> Rally Team driver.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>&#8220;Congratulations to all the Greek crews that participated in the EKO Rally Acropolis. There is a big difference between doing one race a year than participating in 5-6 championship rallies and surely the times of the Greeks would be better if they had racing kilometers in their legs&#8221; <\/em><\/strong>\u03b1\u03bd\u03ad\u03c6\u03b5\u03c1\u03b5 \u03bf \u0392\u03b1\u03c3\u03af\u03bb\u03b5\u03b9\u03bf\u03c2 \u0392\u03b5\u03bb\u03ac\u03bd\u03b7\u03c2 \u03ba\u03b1\u03b9 \u03c3\u03c5\u03bc\u03c0\u03bb\u03ae\u03c1\u03c9\u03c3\u03b5: <strong><em> \u00abI want to say a huge thank you to our team, the<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Topp<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>&#8211;<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Cars<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Rally<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Team<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em> which prepared a flawless car that coped admirably in this tough race.
