[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In the emblematic EKO Rally Acropolis, which returned from 2021 to the World Rally Championship, the <\/strong>VE<\/strong>2<\/sup><\/strong> Rally Team with the crew of Vasilios and Ioannis Velanis. <\/strong>After last year’s successful appearance, the duo of the team<\/strong> will again wear helmets and belts participating with a top Skoda Fabia Rally2 Evo<\/strong> in category WRC2<\/strong> of the championship, against the top of the world’s private entries. The target of the crew is, on the one hand, to offer a rich spectacle to the numerous rally fans who will find themselves on the special stages of our homeland, and on the other hand, the distinction between the several Greek drivers who will participate in the EKO Rally Acropolis. The competition is expected to be tough with all the top class crews from abroad declaring their presence in our national race.<\/p>\n

The successful recipe of 2021 will not change. Vasilios and Ioannis Velanis will once again drive the top car in the WRC<\/strong>2<\/strong> category<\/strong>, a Skoda<\/strong> Fabia<\/strong> Rally<\/strong>2<\/strong>Evo<\/strong>,<\/strong> with Topp<\/strong>-C<\/strong>ars<\/strong> Rally<\/strong> Team<\/strong> responsible for the service. Sponsors of this year’s effort are Singer<\/strong>,<\/strong> Toyotomi<\/strong>,<\/strong> Wakey<\/strong> Wakey<\/strong>, the Jaw’s<\/strong> burger<\/strong>,<\/strong> Technohull<\/strong> and Serkova<\/strong>. On the team’s side will also be Ergorom<\/strong>, Cosmote<\/strong> TV<\/strong>, 4Wheels Magazine<\/strong> and enikos<\/strong>.<\/strong>gr<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

The duo, with the coordination of the manager of the VE2<\/sup>Rally Team, Robert Nahmia<\/strong>, had the opportunity to test the racing car with which they will participate in the EKO Rally Acropolis,covering several kilometers, with the driver, Vasilios Velanis declaring: “Having driven the<\/em><\/strong> Skoda<\/em><\/strong> Fabia<\/em><\/strong>Rally<\/em><\/strong>2<\/em><\/strong>Evo<\/em><\/strong> for the first time in last year’s race, we soon felt more familiar with the car. We put in useful racing kilometers on gravel, testing different setups so that on race days we are able to make the most of the incredible potential of the <\/em><\/strong>Skoda<\/em><\/strong>. We will be behind the buckets to make the final arrangements on Greek landscape, a few days before our national race, in order to be ready”<\/em><\/strong> The EKO Rally Acropolis takes place from September 8 <\/strong>to 11<\/strong>, centered on the city of Lamia, and includes 16 special routes in Attica, Corinthia, Boeotia, Fthiotida, Phocis and Eurytania. The<\/strong> highlight of this year’s race will be the super special at O.A.K.A. which is expected to be closely watched by more than 60 thousand spectators and millions of television viewers around the world<\/strong>. The<\/strong><\/em> VE<\/strong><\/em>2<\/sup><\/strong><\/em> Rally<\/strong><\/em> Team <\/strong><\/em>duo<\/p>\n
